Good Vs Bad Foundations

No house can stand without a good foundation.

On February 26 Victory Poipet hosted a teaching seminar where we taught on the foundational principles of the Gospel. We split up the men and the women, and had four different teachers teach throughout the day. The event had a good turn out, and we are expecting good fruit to come from this day. You can see the pics of this event here: Victory Poipet Pictures.

It’s disturbing to see some of the teaching that is coming out these days. One very popular pastor in the USA, Rob Bell, seems to have taken a turn for the worst in his teaching. His church is very large, and he has a huge influence on people.

You can’t just cut out the parts of the Bible that you find offensive, or what you just don’t like. You have to teach it all.

Below is the video promoting Rob Bell’s new book.

LOVE WINS. from Rob Bell on Vimeo.

“I regard Jesus as a great teacher of humanity, but I do not regard him as the only begotten son of God. That epithet in its material interpretation is quite unacceptable. Metaphorically we are all sons of God, but for each of us there may be different sons of God in a special sense. Thus for me Chaitanya may be the only begotten son of God … God cannot be the exclusive Father and I cannot ascribe exclusive divinity to Jesus.”
~Mahatma Ghandi (Harijan: June 3, 1937)

A comical short video: The Erasable Bible.

There’s nothing new under the sun. False teachings just get repeated over and over again as the centuries go on.
