All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy

This is the first book in Cormac McCarthy’s “Border Trilogy”. If you like western type themes then this one is worth reading.
I like the author’s style of writing. He is very poetic and vivid at the same time. The story flows nicely and I was never bored.
It’s a good adventure story with horses, a bit of romance, time spent in a Mexican prison, lots of near death experiences.
I recommend it. I have started the second in the trilogy called “The Crossing”.
Good book.
