1) Are you willing to obey whatever God says about a specific area in your life no matter how you feel about it?
2) Are you willing to thank God for whatever happens in this area whether you understand it or not?
3) Is there something in this area you are relying on, more than God, for hope and meaning in your life?
4) Are there problems or limitations in your life which you think are too big for God to remove?

You’re absolutely right! No one can do this apart from God’s grace coming from the Holy Spirit. I think the closer we can get to living like this, the closer we are to true freedom.
